Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 コアの両端部とその上に敷装された外装ワイヤとを接続
    する外装ケーブルの接続部材において、光フアイバ海底
    ケーブルを有する２つのコアの両端部が連続的に相互接
    続され、 上記両コアの接続部上には外装ワイヤの端部が所定の長
    さだけオーバーラツプして互いに向き合って敷装され、
    　 上記オーバーラツプ部分の中央部には、それを包囲する
    ように剛体金属性のスリーブが配置され、 かつ上記スリーブの外側表面は粘着物で被覆されている
    と共に粗面化され、その両端部は他の部分より大きな外
    径を有し、 更に、上記スリーブ両端部において上記外装ワイヤの、
    オーバーラツプ部が折り返されて上記スリーブ外側表面
    上に付着され、該付着された外装ワイヤ部分は上記スリ
    ーブ外側表面に対して帯環材により固着されていること
    を特徴とする、外装ケーブルの接続部材。
