Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 回路板を挿入しつるスロットを持っコネクタを供し、こ
のコネクタから延ひ出しているばね接触子り足状自由１
４列を板上りトレースφこ半田付けすることは、米国特
許第３，４１３，５９４号で知られている。
また、ハウシンク４こプラスチソクリ鋲ヲ設けてこｎを
回路板の八に挿入したのちヒートステーク法などにより
課題を拡大してハウシンクを板上に恒久的に搭載するこ
とが、米国特許！　３，９６６，２９０号で仰られてい
る。
不発！男は、尾部をコネクタハウジングから延び出させ
た数列の接触子をもつコネクタを供し、そのハウソング
がスタットの半田利けにより４載さイ１７る回路板に接
触子尾部の足状自由４を半田利けしようとするものであ
る。
本発明によるコネクタは、２列以上の通路とこイ″Ｌ０
こ挿通された接触子とを持つハウジングを有し、その接
触子が回路板上のトレースに半田付けざイ’Ｌるように
ハウシングからり重々の長さζこ延ひ出した尾部を有す
るはθ）、ハウジンクの一面力）ら矢高する少くも一つ
のスタンドが回路板の穴に挿入さｉ％で牛田付けさ／ｎ
、６ようにしたことを特数とする。
以下、図面Ｑこ示す夫流例Ｑこついて本発明をさらに詳
細に説明する。
第１図Ｑこ全体を符号（ｌψで表すツーピース板間コネ
クタ装置Ｏま、直通受ロコ不りタ（ｌりと直角型維コネ
クタ０４〕を言む。受ロコ不りク（１す６ま絶縁材のハ
ウジンク（１６）と、複数の、例えばペンシルウェーニ
ア州ハリスパークのＡＭＰ社から売出されている、一端
に箱形ソケフトを泪する接触子（図示せす〕とを含む。
そｎらの接触子は通路側に挿置さイ１．他４＋ｌこはハ
ウジングの背後から延び出したまっすぐな線替きボスト
（図示せず）を有する。コネクタ（ｌすは母板（背面）
（２申に搭載さイｔて前記ポストが穴を遡って板の背後
に突出する。
雄コネクタ（１４〕はハウシック（２２つと接触子（２
勺。
（２６）　、Ｃ：２Ｂ）を含む。間接触子は、図示Ｕ）
芙施例ではピン（３■になっている接＠部と、尾部（３
２）と、中１川の保持部（３４）とをゼする、ハウシッ
ク（２りは４３図に示すように３列の通路（３６）　ｆ
含む。こｎらの）Ｉｆｉ路列は互いＱこ平行でありハウ
ジングの両１／１ｉｉｉＱこ及んでいる〇二つり矢高部
材（３８）、　Ｃ４ψはコネクタ正向にシュラウド（４
２）を画成する。
接触子（２４）、　（２６）、　Ｃ２８）の接合部（３
のと中間部（３つとはそれぞれ構造設計および寸法が同
一である。
図示の接合部（３■は前記の箱形ソケフトに会致して挿
入しつる設計のピンであり、ｑ町田部（３Ｊは通路壁に
長込む突＄１１　（４４）を有する。
尾部（３２）はどの接触子でも構造的に（・ま同じであ
り、谷尾部が連結帯片（４６）と斜めに下降するアーム
（４８）と、アーム自由端の足（５０）とを含む。足（
５０）は凹凸形である。三つの接触子間の尾部の寸法差
は帯片（４６）とアーム（４８）の狡さの遂いである。
接ｌ螺子（２りは帯片とアームが最も短く、候）螺子（
２のは帯片とアームが最も長く、接触子（２６）はその
帯片とアームが他の二接触子の中１ｕｊのシさをもつ。
第２図ｆＱ接触子（２旬を示す。これは銅合金なとの素
材の平板ストリップ７１）ら型打さイｔた成形前の接触
子であるが、第１図及び第３図に水子成形後の接触子と
対照しやすいように同じ符号を付けである。符号（５２
）　（第３図〕は帯片（４６）とアーム（砺の＋＋４１
の曲がり部を示す。接触子は成形後接触部（ピン（３０
）と足（５０）　）　）こめっきヲ施され、そのめつき
はピンではニッケル下地の金めつき、足ではすす鉛であ
る。
ハウシック（２２）ｆこは一対の下降スタッド（５４）
が設置−ｊられる。こイｔらのスタッドは、（短長のコ
ネクタでは〕谷端付近に一つずつ立置していて、ハウジ
ング（２２）と同じ材料、例えはオクラホマ州バーソウ
イルのフィリップス・ペトローリアム・コンパニか［’
　ｔ（ＹＴＯＮ　Ｊの商標で売出しでいる脆化ボリフエ
ニレンプラスヂソクなとでもよい。し力＼し、もつと望
ましいのは、特ζこここに開示する面搭載型の場合、す
す鉛めっきした真銖のスタンドを用いてハウシック（２
２）ζ・こｌ岨音波固定することである。第４１Ａはハ
ウジンク内ζこ取付りら１％た金属スタットを示す断面
図である。このスタットは超音波接合によってプラスチ
ックが流几込む周溝（５６）を呵する。またこのスタッ
ドには表面にスタンドの涙ｎを防止する縦リブ（５のが
ある。
娘板（６０）　＃こは板面の回路、網の一部をなす複数
の電導パッド（６２）が設けら４″Ｌ１　また穴（６す
が設けられている。こイ′シらの穴（１、めつ＠（：Ｌ
／／ｉ！ｉせるがどの回ｍｔこも接続させらイｔない。
！１Ｉ８３図はコネクタ（■４つと回路板（６ψの防面
図であって、中間部が通路（４Ｇ）内に位置する三つυ
）接触子を示す。中間部と通路とは、突刺（４１０が通
路壁に６食込んで接触子をハウジンク内に確実に保持す
るような寸法Ｏこ設計される。
ピン（３０）は通路力１ら前方のシュラウド（４２）内
に延ひ出、尾部（３■は通路から後方に延び出してい、
っ。接触子のハ１ノソンク内の配置は尾部の長さて決ま
り、接触子（２４）は板（６０）に最も近い通路列に挿
置さイｔて足（５■がハウジンク（、′）背面に最も近
い列のパッド（６２）　１こ整合している。接触子（２
６月ま中間列の通路に挿置されてその足（５０）が中間
列υノパソ自こ整合す、５ｏ同じ様に、接触子（２のは
上の列の通路に挿置されて足（５０〕か（相対的に）最
外列のバンド（６２）　ｌこ歪合する。
こＩしらの接触子は足（５のの凸面（６６）がそｎぞイ
ｔのパッドに当接するような向きでハウジンクに挿置さ
イする。
コネクタ（１４）は回路板（６ｏ）上０こ装置さＡでそ
のスタッド（５りは穴（６４つを運り足（５ｏ）はバッ
トに当接する。ここで坂（６０月Ｃ−ＩＪ）ＩＪ−半田
付けを施して足をパッド０こ、スタンドを穴に、半田付
けする。
第３図中の点刻は固まった半田を表わす。スタッドを半
田付（・丈する利点の一つは、スタッドが尾部Ｏこ掛か
ろうとする応力を負担してａ町できることである。そイ
ｌらの応力は足とパッドの半田接続を厳厳すく；、に足
る大きさＯこもなる。
ここＯこは接触子（Ｊ）接合部がピン（３０）　ｆこな
っている央〃瓜？Ｉｌを示したが請求＠都はノケノト、
平形雄りフそ・υ他類似の接合剤Ｔなわち相互接続用構
成　−ＯこＴにともできる。
半田付けしたスタッドの応力４断能力に那えて、尾部の
帯片とアームも足とパットの牛田釦１こ影響しようとす
る応力を吸収することができる。すｆ、ｆイつら、こイ

若干の運動度を有するばね性の梁として作用する。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）３列の通路（３６）を貫通させたハウシンク（２
    りを有し、そイ１．らの通路に通した接触子（２４，２
    ６゜２８）の尾部（３つがハウジンク（２おの一端力Δ
    ら延ひ出している。回路板に搭載さイする面搭載コネク
    タ（ｉ４）　＋こして、前記尾部（３すが連結情片（４
    ６）と、斜下１４アーム（４０と、回路板（６の面Ｕ〕
    屯導トレース（６２）　ｌこ半田付けさイ′Ｌる足（５
    ０）とを含むことを特徴とする面搭載コネクタ。
  2. （２）前記連結帯片（４６つと斜下呻アーム（４８）と
    が接触子（２４）で短く接触子（２６）で比Ｊ咬的畏く
    接触子（２８）で最も長＜、ｉノＱ虫子（２４）がハウ
    シンク（２力の回路板（６０〕に最も近い列の通路（３
    ６）に挿置さイｔ、、依触子（２８）がハウジンク（２
    ２）の回路板（６０）から最も遠い列の通路（３６）ζ
    こ挿置さ、ｎｌ、接触子（２６）が中間の列の通路（３
    ６）＆こ挿置されることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲第
    １項に記載の面搭載コネクタ。
  3. （３）　前記ハウシンク（２２）の−ｌ０）ら突出しで
    いて回路板（６０）のめつき穴（６４つに挿入され半田
    付けされるスタット（５４）を含む、特許請求の範囲第
    ２項に記載の面搭載コア、フタ。
