Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous adhering of lead terminals and a package to fix the former and to seal the latter and to reduce the size in the shape over the entire part of a display device by fixing the juncture of the lead wire connected to a transparent electrode and a counter electrode and a lead frame pin to the joint part between the peripheral edge part of the package and a display electrode substrate by means of an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:The juncture between the lead wire 8 of a counter electrode 5 and a lead frame pin 9 and the juncture between a transparent electrode 2 and a lead frame pin 10 thereof are embedded in the joint part for joining the peripheral edge part of a package 9 to a display electrode substrate 1 and is fixed and adhered by means of an adhesive agent 7 for sealing, such as an epoxy resin.
