Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は金属基体の表面とセラミック素材嵌着重合して
なる接合構造に関するものである。
従来のこの種接合構造としては、第6図に例示するよう
に、例えば内燃機関におけるピストンライナーの開発試
用の楡上品にみるように、金属製円筒基体α1)の内周
面とに別体のAt2os系、Zr0g系、815N、系
或いはsic系等からなる円筒のセラミック部材(12
1を焼嵌め等の手段によシ嵌着重合して構成している。
しかし、単に相互の周面での焼嵌め構造では、絶へず高
温度条件下での使用状態に伴い円筒基体01)とセラミ
ック部材0″7JとK、2等相互の熱膨張係数の極度の
差異に起因して、しばしば嵌着重合部に緩みを招く傾向
となし、強いてはセラミック部材02側にルを生せしめ
る問題を有した。又同時に之等焼嵌め構造に伴い相互単
体時の寸法精度並びに処理条件に可成シの加工上の煩わ
しさを招き、概して生産性の低下をみる等の問題を有し
た。
本発明はかかる問題を解決するためになされたものであ
って、その要旨は、特にセラミック部材側の嵌着重合面
に形成した特定な組成による緻密なセラミックの含浸層
と、それぞれの接合面の少なくとも一方に設けた嵌着重
合面での浸透溝との相乗効果によって相互の結合力を増
大せしめた接台構造にある。
以下、この発明の一実施例を第1図〜第5回に基づいて
説明する。(1)は内燃機関のピストンライナーとして
の金属基体、(2)は金属基体(1)の内側表面に嵌着
重合して固定してなるd、0.系、ZrO2糸、311
IN、系或いはSiC系等からなる円筒のセラミック素
材にして、2等相互のなす金属基体(1)側の嵌着重合
面(げもしくはセラミック素材(2)側の嵌着重合面(
9,Yの少なくとも一方に設けた略々全長に亘る複数の
浸透溝(3)、 (3)’、I:<+“・・・をもって
嵌着重合してなるものである。(4)及び(5)は斯る
嵌着重合した状麺、目をもって1%にセラミック素材(
2)側の重合面(2白1Illと外表面(2)′’側と
の之等面附近に沿って形成したCr201 単体もしく
はSing + Cr2O3及びAt5O,からなる組
成を有した加熱焼成に伴って化学結合されてなる緻密な
セラミックの含浸層である。
上記セラミックの含浸層(41、(5)の形成に際して
は、可溶性クローム化合物の濃水溶液(例えばH2Cr
O4)に酸化クローム(crQo3) 41体もしくは
珪石(sho2)、酸化クローム(cr2o3)及び溶
融アルミナ(α−m、o3)からなる混合微粉末を添加
して充分に攪拌混合した液中に前記嵌着重合した状態を
もって浸漬せしめ、浸透溝f3) 、 (3Y、(3)
/’・・・部からの浸透による重合面(2ト側と外表面
(2)”とにそれぞれ含浸せしめ、次で400℃前後の
加熱処理を施すことKよって2等加熱焼成に伴い微粒子
相互及び金属基体(1)の嵌着重合面(IYに介在する
クローム酸化物による各組成物との化学結合した緻密な
セラミックの含浸層(41、(5)をそれぞれ形成して
なるものである。
本発明は上記のごとく、浸透m (:()、 (:()
’、(3)“・・・を有して嵌着重合した状態をもって
、単に前記液への浸漬とその後の倣温度での加熱処理と
によって簡易にセラミック素材(2)側の重合面(2ト
側と外表面(2)側との之等面附近にセラミックの含浸
1n(4) 、 (5)を形成することとなシ、特にC
r2O3と且つ浸透溝(3)。
(ζ(+’ 、 (3)″・・・との相乗効果によシ嵌
着重合部での金属基体(11表面とのなす結合力を著し
く増大する結果となるため、面温度条件下での2等嵌着
重合部での緩みの憂いがなく、又浸漬に伴う緻密性の優
つた含浸層(4) 、 (51を形成する結果となり、
同時にセラミック素材(2)側の重合面(2ト側と外表
面(2)”(11!lとの之等面附近に沿って設けた内
部を多孔質の状態のま\をもってなす含浸効果によって
断熱性の劣化を殆んどみることなく構成し得る効果を有
するものである。
なお、浸透溝r31 、 I:(Y、(3)″・・・と
しては螺旋状或いは傾斜、網状等その他種々の形状をも
って設けても。
本発明の要旨を異にするものでないことは勿論のことで
ある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 金属基体の表面に、別体からなるセラミック部材を嵌着
    重合してなる接合構造に?いて、それぞれの嵌着重合面
    (+)’ 、 (21’の少なくとも一方に設けた略々
    全長に亘る複数の浸透溝(3) 、 (31’、 (3
    Y’・・・を有して相互に嵌着重合せしめるとともに、
    セラミック素材(2)の重合面(2)′側と外表面(2
    Y′側の各面付近に沿ってCr2O!!単体もしくは5
    iOp+ Cr1203及びAt2of1からなる組成
    を有した加熱焼成に伴って化学結合された緻密なセラミ
    ックの含浸層(4) 、 (5)を形成することを特徴
    とする金属基体表面とセラミック部材との接合構造。
