Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は殺菌薬としてジンクピリジンチオン（ｚｉｎｃ
　　ｐｙｒｉｄｉｎｅ　　ｔｂｉｏｎｅ　）　　を含有
する組成物及び皮膚及び頭皮の障害を治療または予防す
るにおけるそれらの使用に関する。
ジンクピリジンチオンは毛髪用のシャンプーやコンディ
ショナーのような頭垢防止組成物中に通常含有されるよ
く知られた殺菌薬である。これらは一般に頭垢防止作用
を達成するが、このような組成物の性能は理想的とは言
えない。その理由は、組成物中に存在する洗剤が毛髪及
び頭皮上のジンクピリジンチオン（以下、ｚｐ’ｒ　　
と称する）の堆積を低下させる傾向を治し、堆積したも
のは水洗中に速かに洗い流されてし捷う毅・らである。
本発明において、特定の粒経のＺＰＴ粒子を選択するこ
とによシ改善された頭垢防止作用を有する処方が製造で
きることが驚くべきことに見出された。ｙに、このより
なＺＰＴ処方は各種の剥片化（フレーク化）及び鱗屑化
（スク゛−ル化）皮膚障害及び他の微生物感染症状の治
療に使用できる。
従って、本発明は、通常の担体と組合せてジンクピリジ
ンチオンを含む毛髪用または皮膚手入れ用組成物であっ
て、ジンクピリジンチオンの主要割合が各々２μｎ】の
最大直径％３Ｘ１０１７−の最大容積及び２ｒｒ？／ｌ
の最小表面積を有し、かつ実質的に六角形半小板または
その断片の形態をしている粒子の形態をしてｂること１
ｒｔ＃徴とする毛髪用または皮膚手入れ用組成物を提供
する。
上記したようにＺＰＴを含有する組成物は、ＺＰＴが毛
髪及び頭皮並びに皮膚をより効率的に核種し、水洗中に
より除去されにくくなシかつ改善された頭垢防止作用を
有するという長所を有する。
また、ＺＰＴの粒子は小さく従って大きな表面積を有す
るので、これらは皮脂または水いずれかによシ頭皮中な
いし上によシ速かに可溶化され、それ故、使用中、標準
的なより大きな粒子よシ効果的で、あ−る。
効果的に軽減されつる症状の例は頭垢、脂漏性皮膚炎、
輪癖感染及び「乾燥」剥片化皮膚または冬期乾皮症であ
る。。
好ましくは組成物中のＺＰＴの少なくとも７５チが上記
したような粒子の形態をしておシ、より好ましくは少な
くとも８５％が、そして最も好ましくは少なくとも９０
チがそうである。
このような粒子は例えば晶出のような各種の手法によ〕
製造できること及び粒子は全てが完全な六角形小枝の形
態をしているわけではなく多くは破壊され、凝集し、あ
るいは不完全であったりすることが理解され、よう。
好ましくはＺＰ、１粒子の主要割合が１μｍの最大直径
を有する。
好ましくはＺＰＴ粒子の主要割合が４　Ｘ　１０−”−
の最大容積を有する。
好ましくＦｉＺＰＴ粒子の主要割合が４　ｗｔ　／　ｙ
の最小表面積を有する。
本発明にて特記したこの物質は毛髪用ドレッサー、毛髪
用コンディショナー及びシャンプー中に提供される。組
成物の他の提供形態には顔面、頭皮及び他の皮膚の障害
を治療するためのクリーム剤、軟膏剤及びローシヨン剤
が含まれる。
好ましくは、本発明による組成物は通常の毛髪用のシャ
ンプーまたはコンディショナーとして提供され、ラウリ
ルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム、ｎ−ラウロイルザルコシネ
ルトナトリウム、硫化アルキルアンモニウムのような洗
剤及σ他の通常の成分１例えば増粘剤、乳白剤１着色剤
、香料及び保存剤を含有する。
好適には本発明による組成物はシャンプーｔｉはコンデ
ィショナー、例えば欧州特許出願第０００７７０４号及
び同第８２３００３９８号及び英国特許出願第８１３２
１４１号中に記載されたものである。
組成物中のＺＰＴ粒子の粒径及び形状は電子顕微鏡観察
、コールタ−（０ｏｕｌｔｅｒ　）計または遠心分離粒
径分析のような通常の技術により確認されうる。
好便にはこれは電子顕微鏡観察によシ確認できる。
本発明による組成物中に使用するためのＺＰＴの粒子は
例えば、ピリジンチオンのよ）可溶性のナトリウム塩の
溶液からその亜鉛塩を晶出させることによシ製造できる
。あるいは、これらは全ての粒径を有する粒子を含有す
るＺＰＴから、沈降により、所望によシ遠心分離によっ
て促進し、そして粒径の適当な分布を含有する試料を選
択することにより得ることができる。
本発明はまた上で定義した組成瞼を患者の毛髪、頭皮及
び／または皮膚に適用することを含む皮膚及び頭皮の障
害を治療または予防する方法も提供する。
以下、本発明を実施例により例示するが、これら実施例
社決して本発明の範囲を限定するものではない。
実施例１ ＺＰＴ微小板の製造 １七ル（１６１ｆ）の硫酸亜鉛を、１チラウリルエーテ
ル硫酸す）　ＩＪウムを含有する蒸留水に溶解した。溶
液を６０℃に加熱した。
２モル（２９９ｆ）のナトリウムピリチオンを、別の容
器内で水に溶解しやは９６０℃に加熱した。
２柚の溶液を混合し、速かに冷却した。生成したジンク
ピリチオンの結晶をガラス製ミクロフィルターで戸数し
、洗浄し、乾燥した。それらの粒径を測定した。
次いで、結晶を適当な沈殿防止剤（例えば界面活性剤／
ケイ酸マクネシウム系）中ＫＡｍ濁させ、遠心分離した
。
遠心分離時間、淫度及びローター角度＃Ｊ、下記のスト
ークス（８＋ｏｋｅｓ　）　　の法則によシ支配される
ように、溶液の粘度及び密度及びジンクピリチオン粒子
（球形状と仮定）０＠度に左右される。

て、結晶を濾過”し、乾燥させた。それらの粒径を再び
測定し、もし２μｍ未満であれば、暗容器中に０℃で保
存した。

まで被検者を用いた二重盲臨床試験及び頭垢の程度を評
価する主観的技術によ飢頭垢を軽減するにはよシ小さな
粒径のジンクピリチオンがより効率であることが分った
。治療６週間後、基剤シャンプーを与えられた群の志願
者らは自分達の頭垢の程度において何ら変化を示さなか
った（志願者８人）。平均粒径２．５μｍ　（１μｍ未
満が高割合）の１％・ジンクビリチオンシャンツー’ｔ
ｑえられた群の被検者らｌｒｉ頭垢の程度において６０
係Ｑ群平均百分率低下を承した（志願者９人）、、平均
粒径７μｍ（１μＩｉｌを超えるもの高割合）の１％ジ
ンクピリチオンシャンプーを与えられた群の被検者らは
頭垢の程度においてわずか４０係の群平均百分率低下を
示した（志願者９人）。
ｂ）試験管外殺菌活性 １　　　平均粒径及びアスペクト比が異なるように２糧
のＺＰＴ画分を水性懸濁薩中に調製した。画分は上記し
た小粒径Ｚ　Ｉ）　Ｔ六角形小板に豊富なもの及び反復
遠心分難及び洗浄により小粒径物質をなくしてし′まっ
た比較的大きな粒径からなるものからなっていた。これ
らの画分ｌｄ１通常使用されかつ最も評判の高い頭垢防
止活性の試験管試験、すなわち蜂天拡散によるＰｉｔｙ
ｏｓｐｏｒｕｍ　ｏｖａｌｅに対する頭垢防止活性を用
いて行なった。Ｐｉｔｙｏｓｐｏｒｕ＋ｎ　ｏｖａｌａ
を。
試験懸濁液（５種の反復検体）を導入したＦ紙ディスク
またはく□ぼみを含有する寒天板上に生育させた。板を
３７℃で培養し、４８時間１１に酵母生育の抑制区域を
決定した。０．０３〜０．６ｆ％の範囲で試験したＺＰ
Ｔ懸濁液の全濃度において、小粒径のＺＰＴが大粒径の
物質より更に広範な酵母生育抑制区域を生じたことが分
った。

Claims (9)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）通常の担体と組合せてジンクピリジンチオ／ｌ−
    含む毛髪用または皮膚手入れ用組成物において、ジンク
    ピリジンチオンの主要割合が各々２μｍの最大直径、ａ
    　×１ｏ、　）７−の最大容積及び２ｄ／ｌの最小表面
    積を治しかつ実質的に六角形半小板またはその断片の形
    １ｌｉ１をしている粒子の形態をしていることを特徴と
    する毛髪用または皮膚手入れ用組成物。
  2. （２）　　組成物中のジンクピリジンチオンの少なくと
    も７５％が特許請求の範囲第（１）項にて定義した粒子
    の形態ケしている特許請求の範囲第（１）項１ピ載の組
    成物。
  3. （３）　　ジンクピリジンチオン粒子の主要割合が１μ
    ｍの最大直径を有する特許請求の範囲第（１）または（
    ２）項に記載の組成物。
  4. （４）　　ジンクピリジンチオン粒子の主要割合が４Ｘ
    １０”ｎ／の最大容積を有する特許請求の範囲第（１）
    〜（３）項のいずれか一つの項に１駅の組成物。
  5. （５）　　ジンクピリジンチオン粒子の主要割合が４−
    ／ｖのＭ小我面積を有する特許請求の範囲第（１）〜（
    ４）狛のいずれか一つの項に記載の組成□物。　　□
  6. （６）顔、頭皮及び他の皮膚の障害゛を治療するための
    毛髪用ドレッサー、毛髪用コンディショナー、シャンプ
    ー、クリーム剤、軟膏剤擾たり：ローション剤として提
    供された特約−′請求の範囲第（１）〜（５）項のいず
    れか一つの項に記′載の組成物。
  7. （７）毛髪用シャンシーまたは毛髪用コンディショナー
    として提供されかつラウリしレエーテ゛ル硫酸すトリウ
    ム、ｎ−ラウロイルサルコシネートナトリウム及び硫化
    アルキルアンモニウムから選択された洗剤も含有してい
    る特許請求の範囲第（６）項＾ピ載の組成□物。
  8. （８）ジンクピリジンチオン粒子を担体と混合すること
    を含む特許請求の範囲第（１）〜（７）項のいずれか一
    つの項に記載の組成物を製造する方法。
  9. （９）それが粒子形態を１２でおシ、かつ粒子の主要割
    合が２μｍの最大直径、３Ｘ１０−１７ｍ’の最大容積
    及び２ｎ？／ｌの最小表面積を有し、かつ実質的に六角
    形平小板またはその断片の形態をしていることを特徴と
    するジンクピリジンチオン。
