Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 発明の技術分野 本発明は、たとえば、自動車用ダクトにブラケットを亀
付けるような中空体へのブラケット堆付方法に関する。
発明の技術的背景とその問題点 従来、自動車用ダクトにブラケットを堆付けるような場
合、才1図および1−2図に示すようk。
ダクト11)およびブラケット(2)に複数個の取付孔
(81(41を穿設し、この取付孔(3)(4) k内
側からリベット(5)を通すとともに、ダクト(1)内
に治具(6)t−挿入し、この治具(6)の受は凹部(
7)でリベット(510頭部を支持するとともに、ブラ
ケット(2)の外面でリベット(5)の先端を潰して固
定している。
しかし、このような方法によると、ダクト(1)*よび
ブラケット(21K 取付孔(3)(41を後加工で形
成する必要があるとともに、別部材としてのり^ット(
5)を必要とし、工数も多く、コスト7ソツとなる。
また、一般的に1合成樹脂材の場合、超音波によるスポ
ット溶接が行われている。この方法による場合、矛al
l示すようIC,ダクト(1)の外面にブラケット(2
1を当接し、ダクト口)の内側に受は治具(7)を配置
するとともに、ブラケット(2)の外側に凸状の超音波
ホーン(8)を配置し、スポット溶接するものであるが
、この場合、ダクト(1)とブラケット(2)とに肉厚
差があると、すなわち、ダクト(1)がブラケット(2
)より肉厚が薄いと、ダクト11)側の溶融が早く始ま
り1w!合強度が上らず1強度を上げるために長時間発
振させると、>411に示すよ5に、ダクトfil内に
貫通した穴部ができ、空気洩れなどが生じる不具合があ
る。
発明の目的 ダクトなどの中空体にブラケットを容易かつ確実に取付
ける取付方法を提供することを目的とするものである。
発明の概要 本発明は、4F成樹脂襄中空体の外面にこの中空体の内
厚よりも少なくとも取付部の肉厚が厚肉に形成された合
成樹脂製ブラケットな当接し、上記中空体内の上1ブラ
ケットとの当接部の内側位置に、少なくとも1個以上の
凸部を有する受は治具を配置し、上記中空体に当接した
ブラケットの外面に先端が平面状の超音波ホーンを当着
して、中空体とブラケットとを超音波溶着することを特
徴 。
とするものである。
発明の実施例 以下1本発明の一実施例を才5図ないし矛8図について
説−する。
矛5wJにおいて、 (IIIは合成樹脂で一体に形成
された中空体としての角筒状のダクト、仁3は合成樹脂
で一体に形成されたL字形のブラケットで、このブラケ
ット(13は、少なくともその取付部の肉厚が上記ダク
トaυの肉厚よりも厚内に形成されている。
そして1.?6図およびオフH1lc示すよう?IC,
上記ダクト(111の外nilブラケットuzの取付部
を当接する。
また、ダクトaυ内のブラケットa2との当接部の内側
位*に受は治具0を配置する。この受は治具fi3の当
接面には少なくとも1個以上の凸部a◆が集設されてい
る。
さらに、ダクトαυに当接したブラケット髄2の当接部
の外面に超音波ホーンu5を当着する。この超音波ホー
ンfiSの先端の当接面は平面状に形成されている。
このようにして、車−ンaSを発振させると1発振によ
りダクト(illとブラケットaことの接合面に発生し
た熱によりダクトttuとブラケットα2とを溶融させ
て互いK171合させる。この際、矛8#Aに示すよう
に、受は治具a3の凸部a4により溶融したダクトIの
壁部がブラケット級り儒に押し込まれ、短時間で確実K
j1着接合される。また、ブラケット(lりはダクトa
1より厚肉となっているので、ブラケットaりを央き破
ることはない。
なお、実施にあたって、受は治具α3の凸部1は。
f6図に示すような板状などのほか1円柱状や半球状な
ど適宜な形状に形成すればよい。
発明の効果 本発明によれば、中空体にブラケットを数付ける場合、
取付孔を形成したり、リベットなどのかしめ工程などを
必要とせず、しかも、中空体およびブラケットを合成樹
脂で形成するので、安価にできる。
また、中空体とブラケットとの溶着部は中空体側がブラ
ケットIIK突入していて1表面だけの溶着でないので
溶着強度が大きく、かつ、ブラケットは中空体の肉厚よ
り厚内であるので、受は治具の凸部によって形成される
溶着部が買遇することなく、空気洩れなどを生ぜず、自
動車用ダクトなどの製作に好適である。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)  合成樹脂製中空体の外面にこの中空体の肉厚
    よりも少なくとも取付部の肉厚が厚肉Ell成された合
    成樹脂製ブラケットを当接し、上記中空体内の上記ブラ
    ケットとの当接部の内情位置に、少なくとも1個以上の
    凸部を有する受は治具を配置し、上記中空体に当接した
    ブラケットの外mK先錫が平面状の超音波ホーンを当着
    して、中空体とブラケットとを超音波溶着することを特
    徴とする中空体へのブラケット堆付方法。
