Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of elements to obtain a superior integrated circuit, by connecting a transistor for discharge to the base of a phase dividing transistor and the collector of an output transistor. CONSTITUTION:The base of a transistor TRT9 for discharge is connected to a phase dividing TRT4, and the collector of the TRT9 is connected to the base of an output TRT6 through a diode D2. Consequently, the base electric charge of the TRT6 is discharged to the earth by turning-on of the TRT9. The diode D2 is provided for accelerating the transient of the phase dividing TRT4 to turn-off. Thus, the number of required TRs is reduced, and an active pull-down circuit requiring resistances is unnecessary. Since the TRT9 and the diode D2 are formed on the same isolation, the occupied area of the circuit on a chip is reduced.
