Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the control of temperature with high precision, by installing an expanding/contracting container which touches and detaches a heat sink fixed to a substrate between the substrate and the heat sink which is fixed with a space to the substrate and in a heat insulating way, enclosing a liquid phase fluid into the container and providing a projected part which is dipped in the liquid phase fluid to the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 2 containing a device 1 to receive the control of temperature is fixed to a heat sink 6 with a space and in a heat insulating way. An expanding/ contracting container 7 set between the substrate 2 and the sink 6 consists of a bellows 8 and a contact plate 9 which touches and detouches the sink 6. A working fluid 10 is enclosed into the container 7. A projected part 14 is formed at a part on the surface where the container 7 of the substrate 2 is fixed to always be dipped in a liquid phase 13 of the fluid 10. The heat generated from the device 1 is transmitted to the substrate 2 and then to the phase 13 through the part 14 of the substrate 2. The phase 13 is heated up to a level higher than a prescribed temperature, and the vapor pressure increases to extend the bellows 8 and expand the container 7. As a result, the plate 9 is pressed to touch the sink 6 to discharge the heat. Thus the temperature of the device 1 is automatically controlled.
