Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect weld strength from remote places with good accuracy by taking out only the effective welding voltage from detected voltage, integrating the same, subtracting the value integrating the min. voltage during its conduction time therefrom to obtain an effective component integrated value, and comparing the same with a reference value.
CONSTITUTION: Induction noise components are removed with an induction noise removing circuit 9 from the voltage between welding gun electrodes 2 and 3 detected with a voltage detecting circuit 8. Thence, the voltage corresponding to loss components is removed with a welding gun electrode resistance component removing circuit 10. The resultant effective components are integrated with an integration circuit 24 of a processing circuit 11. The conduction time and the min. voltage are multiplied with the 1st arithmetic circuit 27 storing the min. voltage under conduction with a min. voltage memory circuit 25 and the conduction time with a conduction time memory circuit 26, respectively. Next, the integrated value of the circuit 27 is subtracted from the integrated value of the circuit 24 in the 2nd arithmetic circuit 28. The result thereof is compared with the set value of an upper and lower limit setting circuit 29 in a comparative decision circuit 30, whereby decision is carried out.
