Abstract

PURPOSE: To make welding quality uniform at all times by detecting the voltage between electrode tips having an unequivocable relation with welding quality, and controlling the same with a device.
CONSTITUTION: The voltage between electrode tips 3, 4 after a number of cycles since the start of conduction of electricity is detected with inter-tip voltage detecting lines 6, 7, and the 1st integrated value between the first or second half cycles at every cycle of each electricity conduction or the 2nd integrated value which is the cumulation of the 1st integrated value of each cycle is operated. A comparator 12 compares the integrated value of either of these and reference voltage, and when the reference voltage is higher, the conduction angle of a control rectifier element 1 is widened in each cycle unit at every comparison by a conduction angle setting circuit 13.
