Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain good and homogeneous results of welding by detecting interelectrode voltage at every cycle of electricity conduction during the course of welding, intergrating the same, comparing this with the integrated value of the interelectrode voltage obtained in the stage of a test mode and subjecting said voltage to feedback controlling in accordance with the difference thereof. CONSTITUTION:The interelectrode voltage during resistance welding is detected and is converted to a digital value which is inputted to a microcomputer. A test mode is set, and the digital value of the interelectrode voltage during good welding is integrated at every electriciy conduction cycle and is stored in the microcomputer. Next, an automatic controlling mode is set, and the integrated value of the interelectrode voltage of each electricity conduction cycle is compared with the value in said stage and the differential voltage E thereof is determined. The increase or decrease value theta of the conduction angle of the thyristor in an electric power source circuit is operated by the relation theta=K.E (K: variable set constant) between said value and said differential voltage E, and in accordance with the difference thereof, it is fed back, and is so controlled as to approach to said theta=K.E.
