Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a magnetization for detecting revolution accurately by removing a back yoke extending over the whole circumference only by predetermined width in the axial direction from an end surface on which the magnetization for detecting revolution is executed. CONSTITUTION:A magnetization 24A for drive is magnetized onto a cylindrical inner circumferential surface 32A of a cylindrical permanent magnet 32, and the magnetization 24B for detecting revolution is magnetized onto the end surface 32B. The back yoke 30 consisting of a magnetic material is mounted to a circumferential surface which does not oppose to a stator of the permanent magnet 32 in order to easily form a magnetic loop of magnetic flux interlinked with the stator. The back yoke 30 is removed extending over the whole circumference only by predetermined width from the end surface 32B on which the magnetization 24B for detecting revolution is magnetized. Accordingly, the magnetization for detecting revolution can be detected accurately because a magnetic loop D in the circumferential direction is difficult to be formed and magnetic flux interlinked with a magnetic induction element 36 increases.
