Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect accurately a motor turning by arranging a sensor between a couple of stators and by detecting a change in magnetic field due to passing by stators.
CONSTITUTION: Direct-current magnet motor 1 changes in magnetic polarity by electric power feed several times in single rotation and its rotation is maintained by attraction and repulsion action between stators 3 and 4. Therefore, as the magnetic pole moves from the position indicated by line (b) to that by line (c), the magnetic pole changes from pole S to pole N at the position by line (a) and pole sensor 9 consisting of a Hall element, etc., is applied with alternate S and N magnetic fields. As a result, sensor 9, affected by alternating magnetic fields in the order of N, S, N, S..., generates electric signals, which serve as signals detecting the rotation of the motor. Therefore, the rotation of the motor is detected with precision and those signals are passed through a detecting circuit, amplifying circuit, etc., for control over the motor.
