Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly sensitive detector, by providing magnetic field generating members, wherein a pair of magnetic poles face two desired members of a plurality of rotational speed detecting members, which are provided in rotary members, through specified gaps, and providing magnetism sensors in a magnetic circuits, which are formed with the magnetic field generating members. Therefore, the magnetism sensor outputs a negative voltage, which is reverse to the above described voltage. The rotational speed of a rotary member 16 can be accurately detected based on the interval between pulses.
