Abstract

PURPOSE: To enlarge a detecting operation domain and also to detect a fixed point position easily by providing side magnets on both sides of a magnet for signal field.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic sensor MS is constituted by fixing solidly two ferromagnetic metal reluctance sensors MR1, MR2 having each current passage formed with ferromagnetic metal thin film in broken line pattern, a biasing magnet MGB consisting of a bar magnet and a spacer member SP interposed between said magnet MBB and the one magnetic reluctance element MR1. A magnet MGS for signal field is constituted by fixing two bar magnets Mg1, Mg2 with reverse polarity pars butted each other. Side magnets MG1, MG2 are provided on both sides of the magnet MGS for signal field. A fixed point position is detected by inputting each detection signal obtainable from each magnetic reluctance element MR1, MR2 of the magnetic sensor MS to a signal processing circuit.
