CONSTITUTION:A filament 5 for a heater is provided near an electrode 2, which is one of electrodes provided on both ends of a luminous tube 1 such as a high pressure mercury lamp, and one end of the filament 5 is connected to the electrode 2 and the other end to a filament transformer of a stabilizer through a lead 10.
