The thickness of the optical film of the 1st layer counted from the substrate 3 is set smaller than lambda/4, where lambda is the designed wavelength. The optical film thickness of the 2nd layer is also regulated to smaller than lambda/4. The optical film thickness of the final layer is regulated to larger than lambda/4. In such way, the ripple can be satisfactorily eliminated at the long wavelength side of a visible range.
