Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to restore a second control circuit automatically by imparting a voltage to a second output terminal with a first output voltage as a driving source when a short circuit is released. CONSTITUTION:When the second output terminal 42 of 43 is shorted, an input to a comparator amplifier 27 is decreased, the operation of control circuits 19 and 25 are stopped, and output transistors 15 and 21 are cut OFF. When the short circuit is released, the voltage of a first output terminal 41, which is generating the voltage regardless of the short circuit, is applied to the second output terminal 42 or 43 via a diode 33 or 35, the input voltage to the comparator amplifier 27 is increased, and the control circuits 19 and 25 are automatically restored. When the first output terminal 41 is shorted, a switch control circuit 38 becomes inoperative, and a switch circuit 37 is cut OFF. When the short circuit is released, the voltage is resupplied from the voltage source again. Thus the protection of the short circuit of the output terminals can be performed by a simple circuit constitution.
