Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve an isolation circuit for multi-directional digital signal transmission line decreased with the number of tri-state buffers by inserting two photo couplers between signal high level and low level lines in series and avoiding the switching part of signal transmitting direction. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting a digital signal from the 1st device 1 to the 2nd device 2, enable signals A, B of the both devices 1, 2 are taken as logical ''0'' and ''1''. With this state, when data signals ''0'' and ''1'' are transmitted from a transmission driver 21, this signal is transmitted to the receiver 23 of the 2nd device via a light emitting diode 7 of photo couplers 7, 8. Inversely, in transmitting a signal from the device 2 to the device 1, enable signa A is taken as logical ''1'' and the B is as ''0'', allowing to transmit the digital signal from a transmission driver 22 to a receiver 20 in the device 1.
