Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a simple, high-reliability and economical system by securing the same luminous spectrum property for the light emitting diodes of the 1st and 2nd transmitters and receivers which form a two-way transmission system. CONSTITUTION:The electric signal applied to input terminal 30 of the 1st transmitter/ receiver 24 is turned to the optical signal through transmission part 21 and then sent to optical fiber 29 from optical connector 32 via transmission filter 36 and optical coupler 23. Then fiber 29 is connected to optical connector 35 of the 2nd transmitter/ receiver 28, and the optical signal is sent to reception part 26 via optical coupler 27 and reception filter 39 to be transmitted to electric output terminal 33 in the form of the electric signal. The electric signal applied to input terminal 34 of the 2nd transmitter/receiver 28 goes backward along the circuits provided in parallel within the 1st and 2nd transmitters/receivers 24 and 28 to be delivered through output terminal 31 of 24. Thus the circuit can be simplified extremely since the elements of the same properties are used in both ways.
