CONSTITUTION:Transparent electrodes 3, 4 are formed to prescribed patterns on light transmittable high polymer resin substrates 1, 2, orientation treatment films 5, 6 are provided, a sealing resin 8 is screen-printed, and a liquid crystal 8 is injected through an injection port 9, after which the port is sealed with a sealing resin 10. It is easy to select the resins 8, 10 so as to have high adhesion strength with the substrate resin 1, 2, and it is possible to make then free from peeling or the like in high humidity and at high temps. In the case of forming a polarizing element 12 in one piece to the outside surface of the substrate 11, or forming a total reflective film 14 on the rear surface of the substrate 13, it is beforehand formed on the substrate 13, by which the number of production steps of the panel is decreased, hence the cost is lowered.
