Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent surface reflection by sandwiching a transparent resin between a polarizing plate installed on the front surface of a substrate of a liquid crystal panel and a parting glass plate. CONSTITUTION:A polarizing plate 25 is glued to the front surface of a front side glass substrate 210, and the clearance between the same and a parting glass plate 22 in front of said plate is designed to be buried with a silicone resin 24. With such construction, the reflection on the surface of the plate 25 and the reflection on the rear side surface of the glass 22 is made to virtually zero, and the coloring or the like owing to interference is perfectly prevented. A thin film 21 is formed on the front side surface of the plate 22, whereby the surface reflec tion is prevented.
