Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise the withstand strength of land slide protection wall by a method in which a steel pile provided with an arched wire is drive into the protection wall, and then a tension is applied to the wire member by tensing a steel wire inside the wire member in such a way as to give a stress warping toward unexcavated ground side to the steel pile.
CONSTITUTION: A pit 13 is excavated underground, a foot-protecting liquid A is injected, and then a filler liquid b is injected to the upper portion of the pit 13 to form a protection wall 5. Before hardening the protection wall 5, a steel pile 4 provided with an arched wire member 3 is driven into the protection wall 5, the central part of the wire member 3 is turned toward the ground 6 side to be excavated, and the upper and lower parts of the wire member 3 are turned toward unexcavated ground 7 side. After the protection wall 5 has hardened, a head joint concrete is placed to form a wale 15 with a head joint 14 in order to prevent the movement of the head portion. And, the upper part of a steel wire inside the wire member 3 is pulled by jack, etc., in such a way as to give a stress warping toward the unexcavated ground 7 side to the steel pile 4. Under the condition, the ground 6 is excavated.
