Abstract
PURPOSE:To set anchors with good efficiency by eliminating the needs for diving operation in water by workers by a method in which the operations from excavation of pit in quaywall to fixing of anchors are made by a working machine vertically moving in a guide. CONSTITUTION:A guide 7 of a length enough to exceed the most deep depth of fitting the anchors of fender is vertically fixed along a quaywall. A wording machine 41 having an auger 30 is lowered along the guide 7 for excavating a pit. The machine 41 is pulled up and attached with a cleaner. The machine 41 is again lowered to discharge excaveted soil from the pit. The machine 41 is then attached with a container filled with curing agent is lowered to put the container into the pit. Anchors are set on the machine 41, and the machine 41 is lowered and advanced into the pit to break the container, and the anchors are fixed to the quaywall 1 by hardening the curing agent.
