Abstract
PURPOSE: To exactly form a continuous and strong pillar row even in soft ground by a method in which each pillar row surrounding a basement to be formed under the ground is formed by agitating soil and sand while excavating pits of a pillar form by an excavating stirrer and at the same time by injecting a soil hardening agent, and the adjacent pillars are mutually and partly overlapped with each other.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary excavating stirrer shaft 5 is brought down to the ground, a pillar pit 8 is excavated in the ground, and soil and sand 9 in the pit 8 are stirred. When reaching a given depth, the shaft 5 is pulled up to drain water from the pit 8, and while the shaft 5 is brought down or lifted, a soil hardening agent is injected into the mixed with soil and sand 9 through a nozzle at the tip of the shaft 5 from a pressure supply pipe 7. Since the excavating stirrer 3 has a pair of the shafts 5, two pillars 2 can be concurrently formed and partly overlapped with each other. Before the pillars 2 are hardened, a pillar to be formed next is built while overlapping partly with the adjacent pillar already formed. In the same way thereafter, the pillar row is built.
