Abstract
PURPOSE: To allow an exhaust reflux unit to appropriately regulate the amount of exhaust reflux and air/fuel ratio even at highlands by controlling the unit with a pressure sensor, which detects the atmospheric pressure, and a detector which senses the lever opening of an ejection pump.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle chamber 1 with a throttle valve 4 is communicated with an exhaust reflux pipe 2, the opening of which is controlled by a cut valve 3. A solenoid 3-way valve 5, which drives the valve 3, is electrically connected to a water temperature sensor 10 and a relay 11, which is excited upon receiving a signal from a throttle switch 9. Motion of a control lever 7 of a fuel ejection pump 6 is detected by a potentiometer 8, which works as an opening detector, and is computed by a comparator 13 together with signals from a reference voltage setter 12, and sends out a signal to the switch 9. A potentiometer 8 is connected with a bellows 20, which works as a pressure sensor and varies a variable resistor 21 corresponding to its own inflation and deflation. Thus the output voltage is compensated.
