Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a secondary air supply control apparatus which enables the air-fuel ratio control at a response speed according to the air suction speed or the exhaust gas speed while preventing the excessive control of air-fuel ratio.
CONSTITUTION: This control apparatus is provided with an air control value 15 as a diaphragm type three-way valve. The outlet 15a of the valve is communicated to a secondary air injection manifold 14 connected to a exhaust manifold 12, the outlet 15b to the air, and the outlet 15c to delivery port of an air pump 16. A diaphragm of the control valve 15 is connected to an outlet of a solenoid valve 17 with outlets each communicated to the air and a negative pressure port 11a of a air suction manifold 11. Here, based on the signal according to the suction speed by a pressure detector 18 connected to a carburator 13 and the signal from an O2 sensor, the solenoid valve 17 is controlled through a control circuit 22. Numeral 26 indicates a throttle position switch.
