Abstract

PURPOSE: To show an excellent effect to air-fuel ratio control in time of a shift change by a method wherein a means is provided which detects that a throttle value has taken an idle opening and which sends the air to the negative chamber of an air suction valve.
CONSTITUTION: A negative pressure switch 71 for sending the necessary output is provided on an electronic controlling part 48 including a microprocessor which detects that the throttle valve 2 has taken an idle opening and sends the air to the negative pressure chamber 39 of the air suction valve 35. In a shift change, when the throttle valve 2 returns to an idle opening and a sensing port 68 comes to the downstream of the throttle valve 2, the switch 71 operates by change of negative pressures at the port 68. The electronic controlling part 48 detects the output of the switch 71 and in a shift change a port 49 of an electromagnetic valve 47 is connected to a port 50 for an intended time irrespective of the output of an air-fuel ratio sensor 54. In this manner, the negative pressure of a suction pipe is supplied to the negative pressure chamber 39 of the air suction valve 35, a valve body 41 leaves its valve seat and the air is introduced into a suction branch pipe 4.
