Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent overunnning and surging by disposing a control valve on the inlet side of a compressor and controlling its open/close in response to the rotational speed of an engine, the intake pressure, and the opening degree of a throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit is provided, where a rotational speed sensor 10, an intake pressure sensor 11 and opening degree sensor 12 are respectively connected to an input side of an arithmetic circuit 13, while the primary W tertiary output circuits 15, 17, 19 are respectively connected to a solenoid 8a of a control valve 8 through an amplifier 20. And the control valve 8 is so arranged as to move toward a closing side through each of signals of the output circuits 15, 17, 19. Thereby, as a relation among a rotational speed, an intake pressure and an opening degree of a throttle valve 7 is detected by the arithmetic circuit 13, while a signal is transmitted to either of the output circuits 15, 17, 19 according to the existent conditons so as to actuate the control valve 8 toward the closing side, the intake air volume of a compressor 3 may be decreased, and overrunning and surging may be securely prevented.
