Abstract

PURPOSE:To restrict the generation of a circulating current between rectifiers by a method wherein plural lines of the rectifiers being the plural rectifiers connected in series having different rectifying phase are formed, and plural of the lines thereof are connected in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Circuit-breakers CB1-CB4, transformers TR11-TR44 and the rectifiers RF11-RF44 from rectifying circuits 1-4 of four groups having the same constitution. The output sides of the rectifiers RF11-RF44 are connected in series making RF11-RF42, RF12-RF43..., RF14-RF41 as groups to form the lines of the rectifiers of four groups. Those lines of the rectifiers are connected between bus-bars DCP, DCN, and current transformers CT11-CT14 are provided respectively at the connecting points of the positive bus-bar DCP. Accordingly because rectifying phases of the rectifiers RF11-RF42 differ with each other, no circulating current is generated between them.
