Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the unbalance of each bridge by equally distributing the add value of the current of polyphase rectifier bridges connected in parallel to each bridge to permit control at the same control voltage wherein a correction circuit is provided to correct variations in the characteristics. The added current is equivalent to the load current and will become the waveform with extremely low ripple if the time constant of the load is large compared with the ripple width of the power voltage. And the ripple is reduced by properly selecting the reactor L1 inserted into each bridge. On the other hand, rectifier transformers in each bridge and automatic pulse phase circuits show variations. Therefore, an Ec correction circuit 31 which corrects the variations in the characteristics is provided and a correction control voltage DELTAEci (i=1, 2,...n) is applied to each circuit to perform the correction in the range of zero of the sum total of DELTAEci.
