Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate a plurality of single current type inverters at the same power- factor, by connecting to the inverters a transformer having a difference between the primary voltage phase and the secondary voltage phase and by supplying the inverters with gate pulses having a phase difference.
CONSTITUTION: The outputs of the single current type inverters 3, 3' are connected to the star/delta transformer 4 having the phase difference of 30° between the primary and the secondary phase voltages and a delta/delta transformer 4' having the same voltage phase for its primary and secondary sides. The secondary circuits of both the transformers are connected to each other and to a load 5. The pulses with the phase difference of 30° are supplied to the gates of the inverters 3, 3'. Therefore, a step-like electrical current with little higher harmonic is supplied to the load 5 and the inverters 3, 3' have the same power-factor. Thus, the DC bus can be controlled by a common rectifier 1 and the capacities of the inverters can be equalized to each other.
