Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a smoothing condensers small, by lessening the alternating current ripple components of rectifying output by changing over the smoothing condensers to line voltage in a 100V system and a 200V system by changing over the condensers to parallel connection and series connection by means of a switch.
CONSTITUTION: Smoothing condensers 35, 36 are changed over to line voltage in a 100V system and a 200V system by changing over the condensers to parallel connection and series connection by means of a switch 34. Consequently, the alternating current ripple components of rectifying output are decreased because rectifying circuits 3∼6 function as a bridge rectifier, thus making the smoothing condensers small only by the components.
