Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the switching continuously operable between a first and second slow-wave circuit electrode voltage, by providing a switch for the changeover, at low voltage side, between the first and the second slow-wave circuit electrode voltage.
CONSTITUTION: With a switch 11, provided in the low voltage side, closing, a high voltage, determined by the turn ratio between primary and secondary, is generated in the secondary side of a high voltage transformer 12, and through rectifier smoothing circuits 14W16, are outputted a collecting electrode voltage, acceleration electrode voltage and first slow-wave circuit electrode voltage, and led to a slow-wave circuit electrode terminal through the rectifying diode of a rectifier smoothing circuit 13, and applied to a traveling-wave tube. Subsequetly with a switch 17' closing in a condition with the switch 11 left closing, a voltage, determined by the turn ratio between primary and secondary, is generated in the secondary side of a transformer 18, and added to the first slow-wave circuit electrode voltage through the rectifier circuit 13, and applied to the traveling-wave tube as the second slow-wave circuit electrode voltage.
