Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily control the pouring amount of molten metal into the mold and, at the same time, to economized the consumption of expensive inert gas, by constructing the pressure pouring crucible type automaic pouring equipment with the primary pressure chamber and the secondary pressure chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A furnace body 1 of automatic pouring equipment is consturcted with the primary presure chamber 2, the secondary pressure chamber 4, an molten metal lead-in path 3 to the secondary pressure chamber 4 which connects both chambers 2 and 4, and a molten metal supplying hole 5. When a molten metal 15 in the primary pressure chamber 2 is introduced into the secondary pressure chamber 4 through the lead-in path 3 by the pressure of the inert gas, such as Ar, N, etc., supplied through a gas supplying hole 6, a level detector 9 detects the level of the molten metal and generates a signal when the detector 9 detects the level.
