Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity of an electrophotographic receptor, and to prevent deterioration of the sensitivity, rise of remaining potential, etc. in repeated uses, by adding a specified pyrazoline derivative to the photosensitive layer of the receptor. CONSTITUTION:The desired electrophotographic receptor is prepared by adding to the photosensive layer, especially the charge transfer layer of the photoreceptor consisting of a conductive layers, a charge generating layer, and the charge transfer layer in an electrophotographic copying machine, etc., a pyrazoline derivative represented by the formulaIin which R is a residue forming a 5- or 6-membered ring together with alkyl and a nitrogen atom, or optinally substituted phenyl or benzyl, as a charge transfer substance. The pyrazoline derivative represented by the formulaIis produced by condensing ketone represented by the formula II with 2- hydrozino-benzothiazole or its mineral acid salt or the like in presence of a condens ing agent.
