CONSTITUTION:When a data is sent to a local bus 5 from a system bus 2, if no data is held in data buffers 8, 9, a transfer request signal 6 is made active by the input/output device after data have been held in the data buffers 8, 9, and a signal 15 showing absence of data to be transferred is made inactive. As a result, a transfer end signal 7 is made active and outputted, and the data of the data buffers 8, 9 are outputted to the local bus. If a data transfer is requested when data are held in the data buffers 8, 9, the buffers 8, 9 are controlled immediately, the data are sent out to the local bus, and the signal 15 showing the exhausting of data in the buffers 8, 9 is sent out.
