Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent errors in the measurement due to changes in the density and capacity of grain particles by uniformizing the density of the grain particles with the vibration of a container for a specified time after a specified weight of the grain particles is measured in the container. CONSTITUTION:When sample grain particles are put in a measuring container 2, the weight thereof is indicated on an indicator 14. Then, a switch of a circuit of a vibration device 15 is closed to start vibration of the container and the grain particles sink in the measuring container 2 to uniformize the density thereof stably. In a specified time, the vibration is halted bya stopping of a timer. A detetion signal of a moisture measuring sensor 19 comprising a cathode 17 and an anode 18 provided on a bottom wall section of the vibration device 15 and a detection signal of a capacity measuring section 21 for measuring the capacity of the grain particles provided in the side wall of the vibration device 15 are transmitted to a correction circuit where a capacity variation signal of the capacity measuring section 21 is added to or subtracted from a grain moisture value measured by the sensor 19 to obtain a correct moisture value which is indicated on an indicator 14.
