Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform brazing by the combustion heat of an exothermic agent and facilitate brazing by kneading a brazing metal, the exothermic agent, and a flux agent and coating the mixture on objects to be brazed. CONSTITUTION:A metal for brazing in the form of powder of small grains is kneaded with an exothermic agent, a flux agent, and a combustion assistant into the form of paste by means of combustible liquid having consistency. Next, said pastelike brazing filler material is coated on objects to be brazed and is ignited, then the exothermic agent and the kneading agent burn, and the metal for brazing is melted by the heat of the combustion, and solidifies on the brazing surface, whereby brazing is accomplished.
