Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain sufficiently stable seal-bonded condition at the airtightly jointed part, by brazing a base material having an m.p. of less than a special temp. with an alloy containing special quantity of Ag or Au, and then by welding said material with a welding path passing the brazed part.
CONSTITUTION: A base material 11 consisting of a metal having ≤1,700°C m.p. is formed at a request, e.g. into a cylinder. Here, a brazing material is arranged at the butting joint 12 to be brazed with a joint clearance (g) made about ≤0.2mm, and is brazed. Two metallic parts brazed by said airtight brazing method are butted, and the whole circumference of the butted part 14 is welded by using an electrode 16 of torch 15 by TIG welding method. That is, the airtight welding is so performed that the welding path passes the brazed parts 17a, b of each metallic part respectively. Further, as filler materials 13≤40wt% Au filter brazing metal-alloy filler as mentioned hereunder are used, ≤50wt% Ag filler e.g. Ag-Cu metal alloy, or e.g. Au-Cu-metal alloy, Au-Ni metal alloy, etc.
