Abstract
PURPOSE: To feed air to sewage in an optimum manner by providing a sensor device for dissolved oxygen concn. the 2nd air feed section operated by the oxygen concn. obtd. from the sensor device and an air diffusion nozzle to an aerating tank.
CONSTITUTION: Normally, the 1st air feed section 4 and the 2nd air feed section 5 are operated, and air is fed from both blowers 4A, 5A to an air diffusion nozzle 2 through a pipe 3. A sensor device 6 converts dissolved oxygen concn. to an electric signal, applies this to a measuring section 7, treats this and applies the same to a decision section 8. At this time, no output signal is emitted from the section 8 unless aeration is excessive. In the case of excessive aeration, an output signal is emitted from the section 8, and since the aeration is excessive, a control section 10 stops the supply of an electric power to the 2nd air feed section 5. As a result, the dissolved oxygen concn. in the sewage 1A lowers and when no more signals are emitted from the section 8, the section 10 again supplies the electric power source to the section 5, thereby starting the air feeding.
