Abstract
PURPOSE: To supply a proper amount of air based on a detecting value of oxygen concn. in a tank by providing a manifold to a pipe passage close to a blower of an apparatus for supplying aerating air to an aeration tank as well as an air flow amount control valve to the pipe passage close to an aeration tank.
CONSTITUTION: A DO (dissolved oxygen, as herein after referred to) sensor 13 is attached to a max. oxygen consuming position of aeration tanks 1a, 1b, 1c and connected to a DO regulator 14 so as to alter a set value of a flow amount regulator 12 by an output signal of the DO regulator 14. On the other hand, a pressure sensor 15 is attached to a manifold 18 and connected to a pressure regulating apparatus 16 and control signals 17W20 is sent to blowers 7a, 7b from the pressure regulating apparatus 16 to regulate an air amount so as to maintain the pressure in the manifold 18 to a predetermined pressure, that is, the pressure for sending a proper amount of air to a diffusion apparatus 9 through a squeezing plate 10 and a flow control valve 11.
