CONSTITUTION:A coat of polyparaxylene or a derivative, such as polychlorparaxylene, polybromparaxylene, polyethylparaxylene, and polycarbomethoxyparaxylene, is formed on an electrode plate by a vapordeposition coating method, etc. For the improvement of adhesion between the polyparaxylene coat and the electrode plate, specialy a conductive film, it is preferable to apply a silane coupling agent, organopolysiloxane, etc., or to containing fine titanium oxide in the coat. The coat is then treated by corona discharge, ultraviolet-ray irradiation or flames. It is rubbed in one direction with cloth, etc., for orientation.
