Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent starting failure due to denatured residual fuel in such a way that an enclosed chamber is communicated at the lower part of the float chamber of a carburetor, and during the halt for a long time, oil level is decreased.
CONSTITUTION: A float chamber 1 equipped with a float 4 is arranged at the bottom part of a horizontal carburetor, and fuel is fed through a nozzle 6 to an air inlet path 7. An enclosed chamber 2 is arranged at the lower part of the float chamber 1, and the bottom part of the float chamber 1 and the propinquity of the bottom of the chamber 2 are communicated through a communicating tube 3. Thus, when the engine is halted for a long time, evaporating fuel in the float chamber 1 is condensed, the oil level L1 is lowered to L4, and the oil level L2 in its divided chamber 2 is climbed to L3.
