Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the concentration of vapor in the jet portion and stabilize supply of the fuel, by projecting a compensatory jet from a wall surface of a fuel passage of a carbureter having the compensatory jet in parallel with a main jet.
CONSTITUTION: A float chamber 3 is connected to a main nozzle (not shown) through a fuel passage 7 provided with a main jet 4 and a compensatory main jet 11, which by-passes the main jet 4 and connects the float chamber 3 with the fuel passage 7, is installed in parallel with the main jet 4. Then the compensatory main jet 11 is formed so that its tip portion is projected from the inner surface of a wall of the fuel passage 7 whereby the compensatory main jet 11 is prevented from being blocked by the vapor 102 generated in the fuel passage 7.
