Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the start-up of the apparatus and to control the temperature of the apparatus with good response, by controlling the operation of a valve for supplying high-temperature steam into the jacket in response to the steam pressure in the jacket during the initial period of start-up of the apparatus and in response to the temperature of the apparatus during the steady state operation.
CONSTITUTION: A jacket 3 is provided on the outside (heating wall surface) of a cylindricL body 1 of a thin-film dewatering apparatus and a signal for operating a valve V for controlling high-temperature steam supplied into a jacket 3 is switched by a selector S1. For instance, in case where the apparatus is operated at a set temperature of 130°C, the reference input r of a comparator CP has been set at a somewhat lower temparature than the set temperature, say 120°C. Next, when the operation of the apparatus is started at room temperature, the selector S1 is set to select the steam pressure control via a pressure indicator controler PC, and the valve V is controlled in response to this signal. Next, when the apparatus temperature reaches 120°C, the selector S1 is actuated by the output of the comparator CP, and the valve V is controlled in response to an apparatus temperature controlling signal via a temperature indicator controller TC.
