Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the optimum number of operating set of hot water supplier with respect to the supplying amount of water and a set hot-water supplying temperature, by a method wherein the reference amount of water for switching the number of operating set of the hot-water suppliers is reduced when a set hot-water supplying temperature has risen in accordance with the set hot-water supplying temperature while the reference amount of water for switching the number of operating sets of the hot-water suppliers is increased when the set hot-water supplying temperature is reduced. CONSTITUTION:Prior to the measurement of the supplying amount of water by a supplying water amount measuring sensor 40, a set temperature T is read into a controller 60 by a temperature setter 80 and the reference amount of water for switching the number of operating set is decided to be Q1 or Q2 in accordance with whether the set temperature T is higher than the reference temperature T1 or not. When the supplying amount of water Q, measured by the sensor 40, is up to the reference amount of water, only the water amount control valve 53 of a first hot-water supplier 10 is opened and the same valve 54 of a second hot-water supplier 20 is closed. The burner 11 of the first hot-water supplier 10 is ignited to start heating.
