Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the minimum operating water amount and drain off surely by a method wherein the control valve of a second hot water supplier and the following ones are fully opened at the stop time of combustion of the hot water supplier to which a control valve for the water amount is attached and also fully opened at the OFF time of a power source for an apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch is ON and a hot water supply faucet is opened, water flows into a sensor 40 for measuring the whole water amount and the whole water amount is measured. When this water amount is more than the minimum operating water amount of a hot water supplier 10, the burner 11 of the supplier 10 is ignited and the supplier 10 is operated. At this time the control valve S2 for the water amount of a hot water supplier 20 is closed. The operation of the supplier 10 is carried out and when the feed water amount measured by the sensor 40 is more than the minimum operating water amount of the suppliers 10, 20, the valve S2 of the supplier 20 is opened to operate the supplier 20. When a power source is OFF, a closed control valve tor the water amount, e.g. the valve S2 is opened and drained off. By this constitution, the minimum operating water amount can be secured and drain-off can be carried out surely.
