Abstract

PURPOSE:To disperse the night power demand peaks by setting current supply timing in proportion to water change amount during a predetermined time period. CONSTITUTION:In a timing setter 1 connected with a heater element 4 of a electric water heater 2, a time signal from a time signal emitting circuit 18 is converted into a timing signal by a night power time normal timing circuit 11 and keeps a switch 12 closed through night time zone. The water charge amount from a feed water pipe 7 is signal d from a charge amount signal oscillator 3. During day power time zone, the charge amount signal is fed to an instantaneous making timing circuit 15 through a change-over means 17, to close a switch 16 for a time period according to the water charge amount. During night power time zone, a charge amount signal is fed to a delay making timing circuit 13, to keep open a normally closed switch 14 for a time period corresponding to the residual hot-water amount.
