Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep operation of thermoelectric power plant, by operating turbine to keep main steam pressure constant while operating boiler on the basis of the detected value of load, when electric power system is disconnected but deviation in turbine speed is within a safe tolerable range.
CONSTITUTION: In a plant in which load instruction value LR for a power plant or the like is given simultaneously to turbine adjustment valve controlling system TC and boiler control system BC for controlling supply of water, air and fuel to the boiler so as to control operation of turbine and boiler, there are provided switches SW1WSW5 additionally. Opening and closing of these switches are controlled by comparator COMP to which deviation of turbine speed is given as input. That is, deviation between detected value SD and reference value SR of turbine speed is monitored by comparator COMP, and switches SW1, SW3 and SW5 are opened but switches SW2, SW4 are closed when the deviation of turbine speed thus detected is within a predetermined tolerable range safe for keeping operation of turbine. In this state, turbine is operated to keep main steam pressure of boiler constant whereas boiler is operated on the basis of the detected value of load.
